I was wondering if I should be tipping or buying a gift for my house cleaner? Also, do I did my hairdresser, nail lady, servers, and others more at Christmas than I normally do?

What is standard ettiquette?

For house hold help, one weeks pay is considered standard, and also much appreciated. For hair dresser, anything I assume....for mine a good bottle of wine and a Pier One glass hand painted ornament ($10) but looks much more for the nail lady. Servers???? That is your call.

it all depends, I usually wrap them something such as chocolate from See's Candy, a card and I hand it to them after Christmas. When I live in Australia, this is a tradition, the service people such as grocer, butcher, milkman get their present on the 26th therefore that day is called "boxing day"

If you like them and feel like they do a good job for you then yes, you should tip them or buy them a trinket. I would go with cash, these people may spend a lot of time with you, but it is hard to know what they would like all the same.

Most people give their housekeepers the equivalent of one week's pay as a Christmas bonus.

If you tip well anyway you dont have to, meaning I dont think they would look down on you for a regular good tip. They wold sure appreciate it but I dont think they expect it.

I always got a tip at Christmas from clients that I cleaned for. It's nice to be appreciated!
