there are a few things you can do.
1. pull off all the braces with some house hold tool. it might hurt but then you wont fell lots of pain and it wont feel weird while you are gone, my friend had her braces taken off for picture day at school then went to the orthodontist the next day.
2. get it fixed, which is kinda hard since your leaving tomorrow.
3. you could probably put wax on it for ten days but make sure it stays near or in the braket. you will need alot of wax and good experience using wax on braces. [[i had never used wax until the last time they moved a braket up a little bit on my tooth, it totally ripped up the inside of my mouth and i couldnt figure out how to get the wax to stay]]

If the entire wire is out there is nohting you can do about it. I would just put wax on sharp parts. If not, simply pop the loose wire into the correct bracket. Its not a big deal, but go to the ortho when you get back.

A better bet would be to call the dentist who is seeing you, explain the situation and see if he can get you in for the fix. Or plan on seeing a strange dentist whereever you are going, because the wire is going to cause misery and cut lips/cheek/tongue, and you will have no other choice. Wax is only for a temporary fix until you can get to the dentist, not meant for almost two weeks.

you could probly but i think it would be best to get it fixed. if there is no chance of getting to the ortho mayb there is an emergency number you could ring or something and see waht they say. if not you could go to a normal dentist they could probly put it back in for you or if that isnt an option eitehr maybe the hosptial or medical centre might have someone who knos what to do. if none of these are an option i think it would be best to try and get it back in and if that fails mayb just take the whole thing out.

Aww! No you do no longer % a tetanus shot, that's in basic terms your very own germs lol, yet do wash your decrease with cleansing soap and all. do no longer decrease off the cord your self, this is risky! you could decrease your cheek or gums, plus you don't be attentive to what you're doing, plus there could be germs on the scissors, and so on! in basic terms call the orthodontist and be sure they be attentive to that's somewhat bothering your cheek and that they are going to get you in somewhat quickly! do no longer difficulty, it is going to likely be ok!
