I used to do that when I was younger: Sometimes because I didnt want to hurt his feelings, sometimes, because I just wanted to get it over with and get some sleep...
But now that I am older and wiser, I dont do that anymore, its best if you let your man know that you are not satisfied so that he tries harder. Dont feed his ego, but be honest and let him know what you like.

I've heard that women will do it to spur on a man to a finish when he's having trouble, and that women do it so that their partners will feel like they've satisfied her if she doesn't feel comfortable communicating her desires with him.
That could be because the relationship is too new or too casual, or it could be that she's scared of her own sexuality. And it can also be for the women - a fairly large percentage of them - who simply can't seem to get an orgasm from sex, period, but still want to make their partners feel manly.

I faked many in my younger days. Now, if a guy is not performing to my standards then I ask him to stop. I do not have time to fake an Orgasm. It only means that it is time to find someone else that hopefully knows what he is doing.

No way...it's just another form of lying...why let the guy I'm with think he got me off, when he didn't? All that does is ensure sex in the future that won't get me off either and it would be my own fault...
I'm not going to fake...if I'm just not gonna get there that time, I'll stop things and we'll do something different or quit altogether for a while...if he's having trouble getting me off, then we'll just have to work on that...

I had to fake one with an ex girlfreind, she wore me out, there was nothing more to give her, the well was dry.

only once and I've never done it again it made myself and him feel like crap. I've never had to do it again once he found out that I did that!! I felt that I had to because it wasn't working for me and he looked so at peace!!! If you know what I mean!!

i have had times that i have yes.
