Yep, doggies really dream and chase rabbits and bark at squirrels in their dreams. Just like us :)

While dogs are sleeping they sometimes moan, whimper, growl and have involuntary body gestures such as twitching, tail wagging and lip licking. In fact if you watch your dog sleep, it sleeps in very much the same way we humans sleep. This phenomenon begs the often asked question: Do dogs dream. The evidence supports that yes, dogs dream.

particular it quite is. i'm uncertain of the info right here yet have been instructed that they are dreaming, basically like us people. I had one canines,(a boxer) who used to bark at the same time as dreaming and a boston terrier who might arise circulate, bark and then lay down back. So particular it quite is common for them to twitch and circulate at the same time as dozing. It shows that the canines is contented and totally comfortable

I've heard it said that this is essentially like our falling dreams. All dogs dream in this exact same way. Thus, it's not necessarily proof that they are having conscious dreams, but rather that they are 'practising' genetically programmed instincts while dreaming.

My puppy did the same thing. Depending on the age...it's normal. but if he/she is over a year old, you may want to talk to your vet. Yes...if the dog is a puppy...he is dreaming...maybe about fire hydrants. lol
