Why try to prove or disprove something that cannot be done? It makes no sense...I look at these questions and answers and no one is getting anywhere. Is it not just a word war?

Just to clarify...I am not questioning anyones faith..or nonfaith. I am just curious. I would be happy to hear how these can or cannot be proven...share with me. Convince me. I am content. I have my own faith...and am open to others.

yes but how boring would life be if every body had the same opinion.

there are some people who come on here and are really passionate about what they are talking about, there are others who are simply trying to p*ss people off and then there are also some who are just totally ignorant.

i think some people are always looking for a way to voice their opinion and as far as religion goes, unless people learn to accept all people and whatever religion they believe in, then any religious debate is not bound to get anywhere.

I was raised Christian. I spent 20 years of my life believing in an imaginary sky God. But after educating myself and finding answers for myself rather than just believing what my parents told me, I suddenly realized it was all bull. I feel kind of ripped off! It's like when a kid realizes there's no Santa. I feel much better now, but I also feel bad about the fact that I was mislead for so long. Also, Christians seem to think that they have the right to decide based on their ancient myths what's right and what's wrong for everyone else, and that pisses me off.

FYI some people aren't close minded and try to bash other people's beliefs AND some religions CAN be 100% proven.

It is the wish of any Christian to save those who are lost. I think any Christian would be overjoyed if they were able to help even one person to know Jesus.

Atheists, I believe are here searching for something. Somewhere in their heart they feel a hole which they can't logically fill in this physical world. I believe they are trying to sway people to their side of the issue to justify their feelings. The logic is, if someone else believes what they believe, they can't be wrong and this feeling of missing something is normal.

hmmmmm...... i think those who are religious would just want that the non-believers to believe, not bash, and the none-believers to not believe what they believe..... the religious only bash when something that they believe is insulted. God bless, but if there is a proper asking of questions and proper answering of them then there would be world peace:)

People fear what they don't understand. Chalk it up to ignorance. I just don't like people trying to force religion down my throat. I say live and let live.
