oh for pete's sakes grow up!!! if you're not interested in her, then stop obsessing over what she's thinking. she doesn't even know what she is thinking it seems. btw, the two of you make a perfect pair.

I had almost the same problem. My gf broke up with me for some big jerk, a total ***. 1 year had gone by, and I was trying to enjoy my life, with the scar she gave me. She left me a voicemail saying: "Hey, its (name). and then she started balling on the phone, she said, "I was so wrong, ive had a while to think about it and i think you were the best bf ive ever had. I just want you back. Call me back". So I agreed to meet her at the beach. I got to the beach, and she ran up from behind me, and tackled me to the ground and kissed me. I was pretty angry, but eventually I forgave her and now we are still going out, happier then before. So my advice to you, if she broke up with you and you still like her, you have to try to work things out, because you might never find someone as good as her. DONT let your anger and emotions get in the way when you make your decisions.

I always try to leave my options open. If you broke up with someone previously, most people will eventually get over it and will accept being friends. She might just be keeping the friendship open in case things change in the future. Don't hold your breath for her to come around though, especially if she is seeing someone else. If you are upset about this, you should probably just tell her that you don't want to be friends since it is too awkward and causing confusion. Move on.

I would guess that she is thinking that she really values your friendship. She is probably hoping that you could atleast be civil to this new guy. I know you don't want any advice, but really continue being her friend. Don't mention your past dating affairs with her. Eventually she will miss you because you are always around to remind her of what a great friend and boyfriend you are and were.
