The first time was on accident...it was about 6 months into our relationship and I was SO embarrassed...he just laughed and said he didn't care. I still don't do it around him on purpose, but I'm pregnant now and I can't help it, haha!

it happens all the time. For sure on the first date. Especially at night. Always in the car. It usually kills whatever conversation is occuring at the time. Quite handy if you don't like your date and you want to go home.
It's amusing t if you pass gas in a store while beside an ugly person and then quickly move away and watch people's reactions. They assume it's someone else and not you... The best situation is when a dog gets blamed instead of you.

One guy I dated told me that women never passed gas. This 40 year old man really thought that was true. He learned from me that he was wrong. Not that I am proud of that but hey, when ya gotta ya gotta. Those women that say they don't, are lying! You can always try to be discreet , but running out of the room each time can become weird looking. Taking beano or tell him you have digestion problems.Be upfront for your comfort.

I try not to, but when it slips out it's no big deal. He'll usually just smile and say "dang, girl." But he doesn't trip. Same goes for him although it hardly ever happens. We've been together for 5 years, but I think I started feeling comfortable about it after 1 year. At that time, he would encourage me to be myself and would say if I have to let it out, let it out.

I can't remember the first time, but evidently it has become more frequent than I realized. About 6 months ago he started addressing me as old fart!?! Which I fear has become an accurate description of me. Good thing he loves this old fart.
Peace :)

If you're comfortable around each other, then it should not be a problem. We are only human. If partner has a problem, then you need a new partner.

A girlfriend of mine told me that when she first got married, she could tell that her new husband wanted to fart but was too embarrased to do it.
So, one morning she let one rip and told him "See if you can beat that!"
When they had kids and the kids were little, in the morning when they would hear the father fart, they'd say "Daddy is saying good morning to us."

Sure, it happens...I don't just let it rip whenever the urge hits, but at times it sneaks up on you...it's a normal bodily function...I can't remember first time though, I don't keep a calendar of my farts...
