I'm very sorry to hear this and I'm sure that it is hard for you. I do not know your age but here are some things to think about.

If you are a minor and you have nowhere else to go then you could go into the system and become a ward of the state so be thinking about where you want to live while he's away at treatment. What I mean is see if you have any friends or other relatives that you can stay with.

You might also be able to force him into a rehab through court orders. You will have to sign some papers and if you have other sisters or brothers, they will have to sign them too.

You should contact Narcotics anonymous and ask them for help. Also I think you could look in the yahoo yellow pages...
Just put in your city and stuff and search names like drug rehabilitation, mental health and hospitals.

Good luck and hope that this helps alittle.

Regardless of your age, you should contact NA (narcotics Annonymous) for their nearest support group. They can advise you and help a great deal with your learning how to deal with this crisis. Your dad will not get off drugs without intervention and a willingness to get off drugs. This support group I am suggesting will enable you to stop being an enabler if that is what is happening in your life. Good luck to you and your dad. I'll pray for both of you.
