Hmmm....... Well think about what made you become a Christian - was it only because that is the way your parents raised you or because you felt God tugging on your heart? While you may sincerely believe that Jesus is the Savior and all that, you should at least feel some tugging on your heart if you engage in sin or have an opportunity to do good works. Maybe somehow you are blocking yourself from God, I've struggled with this myself, and although you may honestly be seeking him you don't get the answers or responses you are hoping for. I wonder if maybe he is silent just to see if we will still believe by faith? In other words, is silence just a test to see if we are really committed to him? I don't know, its just a thought. Just be steadfast and be true to yourself and God. Don't lie to either yourself or God.

I've been a non-believer since grade three.... the whole idea of anything up there waving fingers at me was just too spooky and I bunched it allup in the same bag as Santa and the Easter Bunny. As I got older, I read, and became an historian. It only made me even more sure that we are products DNA, science, chance and a whole lot of other things, none of which has to do with some old man in the sky, sitting on a cloud....... Maybe deep in your heart you are really that way too, but really don't want to tell your parents......

it's not all about waiting. you need to search for him, to try and enter into his presence. try spending some time in meditation (on the scripture, not like yoga type meditation) and try just worshiping him. enter into his presence, and he will guide you.
one time i was at home church, and we were singing songs, ( i was rather grumpy that day) i went out for a minute to get a drink of water, and when i came back, i sat down, started singing, and was simply filled with an inexplicable joy. lemme tell you, before, i had been mad, tired, and ornery. and then all a sudden, i was joyful. it wasn't even a song i liked! it was the spirit, he lifted me up, and filled my soul. i felt his presence that day.
so be patient, but don't be afraid to search for his presence.

He has talked to me. A couple of times I was praying and a voice in my head said something. It is always just a few words and such a surprise! It is so amazing! I was a little startled, but I knew immediately that it was him.

Are you sure it's supposed to be the kind of "hearing" as if with sound? I wasn't under the impression that believers were actually HEARING these voices...

God speaks to us through His word, not audibly. If you are hearing voices you have problems. Always remember we walk by faith.

The God is talking with you, you should just learn how to listen.
To be able to know The God Almighty, you should first know thyself, and to be able to know thyself, you should first get your Kundalini awakened.

if you are hoping for an auditable voice, you won't hear that.
God speaks to us through His Word, the Bible.
