Sparkling lights twinkle in the distance, reminding me of the wonderful nights that are yet
to come,
Wishing on every star, every eyelash, just waiting for The One..
Mistle toes are over my head, every where I seem to go,
But there is never anyone right by my side, to kiss me intill it snows.
Lonely, I wait, to embrace love and to finally feel that love,
The only thing I see flying, except my heart, is a single white, beautiful dove.

It is good. Now, think about the lines where you say that you are reminded of things to come. It sounds romantic and all, but nobody can remind you of things to come unless you have an appointment. Appointments or to do lists and real memories of times past are what reminders really are. Hopes and wishes and heartfelt dreams of what you want that you have not yeat experienced, need another, really sweet, wistful, wishful word or phrase, like...what has yet to be, that I just know will come true for me???? I know that was lame because sometimes, yes, we are reminded of dreams never spent. And white doves, to me, symbolize birth and death.
I really liked your prose/poem. It is very sweet and full of hope.

I really like it. Did you come up with it yourself? If you did you should keep writing. It's sort of romantic and sad for the waiting part. Keep it up.
