Kangaroo's Tennishoes, Lacoste Polo, and a AX355 Alltel Cellphone. But i don't know how to ask for the cellphone. He got me and my mean step sister one last year, but it wasn't the one i wanted. im not spoiled at all. really, please don't harass me. they make good money. but they have to buy presents for me, my sister, and my stepmoms 4 kids. one who doesn't live with them. Anyways, how should i bring up the cell phone thing? ive wanted it for a really long time, and they already got my stepsister a nicer one earlier in the year. but im not going to say anything about her, because i dont like her... shes a *****. so yeah. how can i bring this up? hes going to take me christmas shopping soon. any ideas?

Can you say Spoiled and not knowing the value of a dollar? Are you serious -- wanting another NEW cell phone and the current one is not even a year old?
Wow -- Get a job, save your money -- and purchase it for YOURSELF - then maybe you will learn what it is like for the rest of the world to have to pay for things. The list ... wow ... I've seen the prices of the other things too. Just disgusted by the greed.

You must be really lucky to get all the things you want and they're not cheap in the process, so be thankful for what you're getting.
But if he takes you shopping you can casually lead him to where they sell those phones and then show him.
I just want to let you know that at work we adopted a family, father took off, nowhere to be found, 3 children, boy had to quit school and go to work because there's no money coming in, mother in a deep depression, the 2 girls too young to work.
I hope you realize how lucky you really are.

Why did you start the question with 'my parents are divorced?'
Asking for a cell phone is a very simple thing: my kids ask me for stuff all the time. If i can afford it, I say yes. If I can't, I say no. If I think they shouldn't have it for another reason, I say "No. lets talk about it".
Perhaps you feel you DESERVE a nice present because of the problems you have with your parents being divorced... and your step sister?
Maybe, more than a cell phone, you need a nice, honest chat with your parents about your feelings.
Who knows, maybe the cell phone question just kinda comes out naturally then!

Take him into the lingerie section when you go shopping. Act like you are going to make him buy panties and bras and stuff and then mention the cell phone. He'll be happy to get out of there and buy you the phone.

The time you spend together is more important than anything he may buy you, So except what he gives you and save you own money to buy what you want.

Just tell him you would like the phone and nothing else. That might be a fair exchange.
