Relationship is based on trust and respect. You need to respect him and consulte to him first. He still your boyfriend and you need to telling what you feel and things that not comforts you. Well if you does not have feeling or love him just tell him you wana break the relationship.
If you blow him off this may lead to heart broke and disrespec to each other.
Good luck.

Uhm.. how old are you? What the **** if I had a bf who hadn't talked or anything in five days I'd be ready to kick some @ss. No joke. But let's think sensibly here. Even if he's obviously too immature handle a good relationship, you should set a good example for him. Would you appreciate it if he just started going out with another girl behind your back? No, I'd think not. Be mature and show him some respect whether he deserves it or not. Break up with him in person.

As for this other guy.. d'you even like him? Or would you just be going out with him because "someone wants you to". Cause that's a lame reason. That friend isn't the one who'll be messing with this guy's heart, supposing he likes you enough to ask you out. Don't ever date a guy you don't like. Because if you've got a boyfriend you really like and he doesn't like you, that'd really suck. It's just the other way around. Keep things less confusing on both sides.

let ur current "boyfriend" know that things obviously aren't working out and let him know that someone else is interested in you and you like him too. honesty really is the best way to go. if you be shady and just start dating this new guy, then ur old guy (or others) will say that you're cheating and you're a player and blah blah blah...and before ya know it...you're the school whore and that's not the way you want to be percieved. just follow your heart, sweetie and you can never go wrong. good luck!!
