I always wondered how dose that works when the cubes r procduced from the pipes to ur freezer??

It's pretty simple really. The water comes in from the back of the freezer and fills an ice cube mold. There's a neat pressure shutoff valve involved. The ice maker has a temperature sensor, and when the temp is low enough, it tips up and drops them into the ice bucket.

Then, you push the button, and a big metal screw pushes the ice out of the dispenser into your waiting glass.
