do you mean one plant or one species of plant?

lets say you want to grow hemp- I dont think the Drug Enforcement Agency would expend their resources on one plant. ITs when people get greedy- I heard in the business news that marijuana is the largest cash crop in the USA this year- that causes issues with law enforcement and personal moral and ethics. After all growing pot for personal gain by selling it to young people is just not right.

Yes.

Do'nt you just love all these Christian countries that say God created everything for a purpose, but some man decides what that should be?!?

Overgrow the planet!!!

The sad truth is that the benefits of certain plants get overlooked in the name of big business.

Please, try an argue this point, it really won't take long to show how wrong you are.

OH, an I picked Christian because many religions throughout history and today use "illegal" plants in their faiths.

You mena weed plants, dont you? Think you can out smart rachel huh?
Well I think there are more important matters that every person should have the right to do such as a right to a fair trial. So the right to grow any plant is pretty low on my list of campaign priorities!
But yeah freedom of choice and all that fundamental Thatcherism stuff

You can, in your own garden.
But you must not plant exotic species brought from other countries. That is forbidden because of the risks of introducing new bugs, plant illnesses, and because some foreign species might spread in an uncontrolled way and alter the biodiversity in your country. The same is true for animals. Look at the damages cats, dogs, mice and rabbits made in Australia.

Dear ohwiseone,
what are you trying to ask...your question is kind of vague?
Houseplants give oxygen to the home..every person does have the right to grow a spider plant, diffenbachia, ferns, philodendron, praying hands plant, aloe vera, banana tree, false aralia, etc. Other uses are to beatify the home...grow a house plant...it's legal =]

I presume you are trying to make the case for marijauna legalization, and this argument doesn't get you there.

I could agree, permit you to grow exactly ONE marijuana plant, harvest it, smoke your brains out, and then when you smoke it all-- you're out of luck because you used your ONE plant.

OR--

What if I want to grow a poisonous nightshade to harvest and feed to my evil ex-spouse in order to kill her dead. That would be my personal use, so under your logic I have to be allowed.

Get over it. Some things will forever be illegal, and there's nothing you can do about them. If you want to "use"then do it, but its on you when you go to apply for a job-- or if you ever get caught with the stuff.

No, because most would choose to grow marijuana or some other illegal drug. Watch your grammar.
