I met a 23yr old guy a week ago. He acts pretty nice to me. He's always telling me nice things. Should I go for it??(I'm 18 with a 1yr old)

He stares at you. (He can be a stalker, beware)
He does things to deliberately gain your attention.
He stutters when he speaks to you.
His pupils dilate when you are up close and you see them... Beware, pupils dilate when it is dim, mostly.
He waits for you. He looks out for you.
He laughs at your jokes when no one else does.
He teases you because he wants you to remember and notice him.
He listens to you and actually remembers little details.
He notices slight changes in your appearance.
He seems sad when you ignore him.
He seems jealous when you are with another guy. Whoo.
His friends all know you when you don't know them.
He smiles back when you smile at him.
He often stares at you and when you catch him, he does that cute head turn, very fast!
He performs sweet acts for you. He defends and protects you. He tolerates you being mean to him.

After only a week of knowing this guy I would not at this moment ask him out, you never know if he has a hidden agenda. Take some time and get to know him better and then when it feels right go for it.

He obviously likes you, does he know about the child? If so he might just expect you to give him sex, hold off with the sex for a couple of months and see how he acts. And do me a favor and buy yourself some condoms with spermicide.

There is nothing wrong with going for it in slow motion. You have a child to think about and if it is truly meant to be going slow will only make it a stronger relationship and lasting one too. Best of luck to you

there are pletty of nice people out there. he could be playing a gentlemen, or he could really be one. i'd get to know him first before you go for it. if he does like you than great, but if he doesn't, i would't give my heart out that soon to someone. plus, you're only eightteen i won't start life that quick.

You've only known the guy for a week. And he might just be friendly. Get to know him better first and then you'll be able to see better if he likes you
