Use a pompade or hair wax. Going over your hair with a straightener will also help cut back on the poof

You should try a ceramic flat iron. Make sure you put a product on the hair that is made for ironing so you don't burn your hair. Iron in layers. They have kiosks in the mall where you can try the irons. Also, deep condition your hair and use a spray on/leave-in conditioner before you dry it.

Bio-Ionics. Hair is naturally moisturized and conditioned. It is smoother, softer, shinier with less frizz and static electricity. Hair is overall stronger and healthier. The system straightens hair without damage! Must be done in a salon though...it's like a perm. <>

Use a ceramic straightener. It's expensive, but I guarantee it's worth your money! I have super curly hair and it's can get really puffy. All I do is put some shine serum and use my cermaic straightener and my hair turns out so nice, silky and soft. Try it!

You can hot comb it! Or you can use a flat iron. I know exactly how you feel. Oh! Try not to sweat when you sleep. That will stop the puffiness. See Ya! Glad I could help!

Condition it, and then let that sit for a while. Then wash it out and put a good sculpting gel in, like TRESemme Mega Hold. Towel-dry it and brush it, then add V05 Sheer Hairdressing Weightless Leave-in Anti-Frizz & Shine Creme.
It's my own personal cocktail that works great on my own hair that has the same problem. :]

blow dry it straight and use a flat iron on it afterwards. hairspray is a bad idea to make it look good, with thick and puffy hair. you need a defrizzing balm.

i have the same hair. i got swoop bangs and got a really really good staightner. thats what you should do. or go to a saloon and get your hair relaxed. (means it makes it really staight)
or if you like your puffy thick hair then just try a different style for your hair.

A hot oil treatment and a flat iron are all you need.

i have the same problem! when you take a shower, try using Herbel Essance. [try to find one for poofy hair]. Don't blow dry it. While it's wet, apply some gel. Then let it air dry.
It should work!! :)
