A bridal shower is for the bride and you buy just for her. A wedding shower is for bride & groom and you buy them things they can both use or for the house.

Bridal showers are meant to be fun and a bit silly. Usually one takes lingerie. Wedding showers are a little more formal. Usually the "mothers" attend. A gift should be a household gift. Hope you have fun at both!!!!

They are different terms for the same thing. Usually, it's just the ladies (unless it's a "Jack and Jill" shower, then the groom and other men are included). You usually have snacks or a meal, watch the bride open her gifts, and play a game or two.

They're the same thing.
Your bridesmaids host a party where you open gifts, everyone eats fingerfoods or desserts, and may or may not play a few games.
