Who said? Faith comes from God as a result of seeking truth and through faith comes revelation. I ask my questions of God who I know and do not follow the teachings of a man.

Who said Christians don't think? "Aren't they INTELLIGENT enough to ask questions..??" You are the one being closed minded. I am a thinking Christian; a thinking ROMAN CATHOLIC. How is that for you? Do you think that all people in a Christian denomination don't think outside of this bubble people PUT around us? Do you not THINK? Do you not think that I do not SEE the errors the inconsistenses the complications? I love how people can label and put in a box with a bow others, people just like them and try to make them feel so stupid, especially when sometimes some are not.

You know, if you found a church which meets your personality, e.g. traditional, fundamentalist, whatever, & went for awhile you might find that you like it. So please try it even if you don't believe. Its a matter of faith. Many many intelligent people believe in God. I love my church & listening to the words of the sermon, prayers and hymns give me a great sense of peace.
My church isn't fire & brimstone & is tolerant of all other churches.
Even if you don't believe, you would be a better person for it. It helps one deal peacefully with other people & the world. Of course there are hypocrits but most people strive to be better & contribute to society as a whole.

Because it's conditioned. They are not allowed to question God or their faith. They are supposed to choose the right faith though, but how does one do that without questioning them all? It basically means they stick with the one that was given to them and believe or burn.
Fear is a great tactic. Combine that fear with ignorance and you have some pretty rich Churches taking advantage of the weak minded.

That game would just give them stronger faith in the miracle of God that he can keep the word unchanged in meaning for 6000 years and countless translations and variations.

you have a point, more christians should stop and ask questions.
sadly, most christians don't even think about religion, and most of the ones that do don't ask questions.
why does christianity have to be the mainstream faith!?
