If a man is abusive and cheats in past relationship then that should be a warning sign to any woman that she shouldn't get involved with him. Are there any other warning signs?

Wait.....I'm not dating someone who is abusive or a cheater. I just wanted a couple warning signs. The only warning signs that I could think of was cheating or abusive.

What do you mean "Other warning signs" A cheating abusive idiot is not enough warning for you? He is not the one you want to marry,
Gees the crap some women will do to get a ring.
Find someone who will love and respect you, not go hunting for others and give you a black eye in between.
Be smart, good luck

Gee that is a tough one, as some guys who have been abusive in the past do not change.. I know from experience, my childrens father was an abuser and he still is and I left him in 1991.
Does that mean all mean and or women continue the life style of being an abuser? No. But you must remember it is always a possibility they can start doing it again.
The one thing is not knowing what triggers them into hitting a person. So I suggest CAUTION CAUTION CAUTION.
Best of luck

That should raise many red flags in that by itself. Abuse should be the biggest warning sign. There is absolutely NO excuse for a guy physically abusing a lady....none period. Dump this guy immediately. Best of luck to you.

If he is controlling, or expects you to do as he says, not as HE does...if he picks fights just before you go out to see friends...if he's constantly questioning who, what, when, why and how, about every thing you do...if he calls you multiple times a day, for no real reason...if he belittles you in ANY way or puts you down...and of course, if he is verbally or physically abusive.

All of the above mentioned are prooven "red flags" for abuse and if they have been abusive before, odds are, they will again.

Best of luck and keep your eyes open.

If he has any sisters, watch how he treats them..also his mother..they say that if they have the nerve to treat his own mother like that then any other woman wouldnt really matter..be cautious..especially since you know hes been abusive

If he has to register as a sex offender whenever he moves to another city, pretty good sign. Is he quick to get angry or violent? Is he threatening in anyway verbally or physically?

You need a reaonable long engagement (if that's even a word any more). You need someone who hasn't been divorced, and there's more, but most men today aren't worth going out with.

Is he ever 'sharp' or 'critical' cuase that gets worse with time. what are his first reactions when something bad happens. He is putting on his good face so you need to look at his past, his stories (what he tells you about work and himself)... and listen to your gut

if he has more than one kid with more than one babymomma he probaly will never settle do in a serious relationship. if he has been to prison before for something serious like drugs, he will again. if he has been hurt by several women in the past, just because you are good to him, he will hurt you.
