Depends on the cookie but try using powder sugar instead of flour. It works great when you are making sugar cookies. Good luck

Try mixing granulated suger and flour together. If the dough is very sticky, you may need to refrigerate or add additional flour to the dough. If too much flour remains on cookies, brush off with brush, it will help the icing to stick better.

dust your hands with flour and then run them over the cookie dough. and then when rolling them out take a couple of pinches of flour and lightly rub it over the rolling pin. or you could dust a piece of wax paper to roll out the dough. counter tops seem to stick no matter what you do. good luck and happy holidays

Don't use so much flour! Chill your dough and then you will not need to put flour on the rolling pin or wax paper

If you are doing chocolate cookies use cocoa instead of flour.

attempt this recipe: NO FLOUR OATMEAL COOKIES a million c. brown sugar a million c. white sugar a million c. shortening (no longer oil) a million c. crunch peanut butter 2 eggs 2 tsp. soda a million tsp. vanilla 5 c. oatmeal Cream sugars and shortening. upload eggs, peanut butter and relax of components. Make into balls and press down. Bake in 350 degree oven.

dont put so much flour on the table, lol. seriously, just lightly take a wetted bounty papertowel and pat them with it before you put them in the oven, it will take the white away

use less flour.....you should only being using it so it doesn't stick...if you're coating the dough with flour, you're using too much.
