What carseat fits best in an 05 Explorer? I have tried different makes and models.?

if you can't find one that fits you should call the company that built the car and ask what car seat would best fit your car or if it can be modified to accept car seats of your brand.

Are you installing the seats correctly? I have used several different styles over the years and moved each one from vehicle to vehicle (alot of rental cars) and have never had a problem with the seats, including the Explorer.

If you've picked a seat already, stop by your local fire or police department. They will gladly show you how to properly install the car seat.
