I've been in ohio since 2003. I used to be in New York. I miss it so much because all of my family is there. I need a solution.

I guess it depends on why you left NY, and why you've been in OH for 3 yrs. If it's definitely NOT where you wanna be, then go back 'home' to NY. But always keep in mind. It's not WHERE you live, but HOW you live. After 3 yrs, I would've thought you would have adjusted with many new friends.
+ You can always invite your family to visit OH! But I know easterners really dont leave home much. Happy Holidays to you and yours! ;)

Are you in Ohio due to a job or school?
Its natural to be homesick and especially if its a different state where you have no family to visit or give you that little feeling of comfort. If you miss it so much, there's nothing stopping you from going back. Why not try a place that's close to NY but, not in NY. Then you could still have that feeling of family comfort AND you'd be on your own in a state away (independance with support, if you will).

Take a trip home to new york... you might find it isn't as great as you thought. Then come back to ohio....

You should call or visit if you have the money. When im away from family calling makes me feel at home!GOOD LUCK!
