Vernaccia, Arneis, Reisling is on the fruitier side and perhaps easier to drink. Or you can opt for a rose, like white zin.

Dry red....DaVinci Chianti Classico reserve Dry White...Hosmer or Buttonwood Grove Dry Riesling both are New York wines Sweet red...I don't like except for a dessert wine by Castile Banfi. an Italilan wine that I cannot remember the name. Sweet white...Again not one of my favorites. I can tolerate some Rieslings, notably Chateau St. Michele from Washington State. Bubbly....I prefer Mumms Champagne. Recently I opened a bottle of Pinot Noir from California that was really really nice. Very smooth and light. Lighter than other Pinots I've had. The producer is LaCrema. At about $32 a bottle, an excellant wine for just laying back and enjoying.

Reisling goes down very easily, it's lightly sweet, but not sugary. Sauvignon Blanc is smooth, but not very sweet. You may have to experiment a bit to find the vineyard that makes your favorite.
If you don't mind a blend, Bonny Doon's Big House White is very easy to drink, and complex enough even for most wine snobs. :)

Wine is fine stuff not to be consumed like water. If that is what you want try Sutter Home White Zinfandel

You probably would best enjoy a light German white wine, particularly those of the Nahe and Rheinhessen.

I think you would like a Riesling. They are slightly sweet and very easy to drink.
