When you tailgate you are putting yourself into danger,that car in front of you can go wrong mechanicaly or the driver may be reckless instantly.

In a "perfect" world, no one would tailgate and everybody would be in NO hurry. Unfortunately, you live in this world. Sometimes, if it really bugs you, just let them go by and smile as they go past. Life is too short to let such a little thing irritate you. Enjoy the season and keep that smile painted on your face. It ticks others off.:)

People are in too much of a hurry now days. We have no patience anymore and can't wait for anyone. Tailgating is very dangerous and could put the person doing it in very grave danger, as well as the people in the car being tailgating. People need to back off and be more patient.

It's called intimidation, they use it to force you to go faster or get out of their way, try this, a light, quick tap on your brake can send them well back, then gently slow down, they quickly get the message that you won't be intimidated, and find another victim.

i think people are in to much or a hurry, or angry at the person in front of them for whatever reasons.. they aren't thinking about the danger's of what their doin' cause they are also riding their breaks just incase the person in front of them decides to be an a$$ and slam on the breaks.. they think they have it all under control so they dont' care or think about what their doin''.....rage! hope you have a merry christmas and a happy new year!

Because most people behind the wheel anymore are complete idiots who feel they are "entitled" to drive any way they see fit and then when they cause an accident, it's going to be your fault for being in front of them!
