I had full laser done in May, everything right to the base of my eyelashes. The procedure was pretty painless. The burn ointment you have to use, gets real old after about 7days...it's just gross and nasty. I was swollen, had two black eyes, numerous bruises, bleeding, gross, yucky yellowish cr*p dripping from every pore. I went home with this huge bandage and drip pan wrap around my head. I thought it was really annoying. And you look really hellish for a good ten days. I also had an upper lip advancement done at the same time.....so on top of all the gunk,I had a big fat swollen lip...talking and drinking was annoying. The lip caused an issue with liquids dripping on my burnt skin, causing more annoyance.. People cried when they saw me. A lot of people thought I had some terrible accident.....nope I paid for this!

The aftercare, honestly, I just answer another question like this today. I almost passed out. When you have laser done, deep burns are induced on your face. You get treated like the burn patient you are.

The day after the procedure, the nurse did it to me. I was being too gentle. You use a gauze pad and scape....you have to keep the cells and the gunk from draining and hardening in the low areas.....like by your nose.....if you don't do this you heal bumpy and its a huge mess. Words cannot explain how much this hurts, the nurse showed no mercy, the first three days...I saw stars and had to catch my breath between each wipe. This was my entire face from hairline to a little bit under my jaw. I would say the first 5 days I dreaded this, but on the 6th or 7th I was cutting those two hours short just to get that gunk off my face for a couple of minutes. The aftercare was a nightmare.

You get put on a ton of meds, it was kind of hard to keep track of what I had to take and when.

A you sort of feel light a vampire.....sunliight.....OMG.......gives new meaning to pain.

The aftercare is really important, you just suck it up and do it. The gunk has to stay on to help prevent infections.......an infection on top of a burn has to get cut out. Good reason to wipe. Then there are those skin cell lines, they form fast. You can't even cry, because the salt in your tears causes serious pain. Washing your hair is out, the water feels like acid on your skin and even baby shampoo makes you want to cry.

Of course, after the fact the nurses inform that laser is a pretty tough one to go though. By that time, you have all ready figured it out. I'll tell you this it is not nearly as painful as an under the muscle aug.....you don't remember the first four days because you are down for the count.

But I would do it again.......without even giving it a second thought. It was worth every penny, every star I saw, every wipe that almost made me pass out. The results speak for them self.

If you are only getting spot treatments, don't even worry about it. Beauty comes with pain...LOL! Just get it done, you'll forget about the pain in a couple of days anyway.

The truth is that it depends who is doing it. A fully qualified and experienced hand will not let you feel any pain. An unqualified or less experienced had will burn the dermis to any extent - causing more damage than a beautification procedure ! Lasers are not to be played with - they have to be tamed !

You can look up at http://www.indosurgery.com and also http://indosurgery.com/TATOOS%20&%20MOLES.htm

Now patients from across the globe are benefiting from GLOBAL quality treatment offered in INDIA at about only 10% to 25% (one tenth to one fourth! - depending on the procedure) of the charges applicable elsewhere for the same treatment / procedure and that too with almost no waiting period. No wonder INDIA is experiencing a growth rate of about 35% in the number of foreign patients coming for Medical Treatment from the rest of the Globe. The proposition is quite irresistible since the quality of treatment in INDIA is truly GLOBAL at very - very low costs. Even after adding all the costs like (1) Travel (2) Medical Treatment / Surgery (3) Recuperation & Sight Seeing (4) Incidental costs of lodging, boarding and local travel etc., a substantial amount of money will still be left unspent form what your total budget would have been had you opted for the treatment / procedure at a place other than INDIA. India offers a winning combination of GLOBAL quality & economics which work in favor of Foreign Patients

http://www.indosurgery.com allows you the flexibility of options rather than a rigid plan directed to a specific individual or a hospital. You can Choose a Suitable Doctor / Surgeon, suitable Place Of Treatment, suitable Boarding & Lodging Facility, suitable Costs etc. It's like tailoring your own coat !

Laser surgery can hurt but you can have a topical anesthetic put on for about a half hour before treatment and ice the area after you will be fine. Make sure you go to someone you can trust for safe and good results

You will feel a burning sensation, but it does not hurt that bad at all. It is more shock then anything else. It will hurt more on some parts of your body that are more sensitive, like close to your eye or lips. But don't worry, it is not as bad as you think. Plus, it is scarless and worth every penny!
