Not worried about it I am a proud American citizen.. Ask your question in polls, not immigration

I will offer one question that I got when I was taking the citizenship test ... I would be interested to know how many us citizens know the answer - the question I got was how many amendments to the Constitution pertained specifically to women. Blew me away I had no idea.

A note - I dont believe there is actually an offical test, the immigration officers simply make up the test - they probably have a list of approved questions. In my case I think the guy was just being provocative - because when I 'failed' his absurd 'test' - he then asked me a couple of additional questions such as what is the term of the President and what is the term of Senator and then declared I had passed. The truth is they make their own rules up and can pass or fail just about whoever the choose. Passing is 7 out of 10 - I got 8 out of 12 duh!

If I were trying to become a citizen of America, to be frank--I really don't think that that's gonna happen. The laws of immagrations have been strong and they're getting better and trying to stop illegal immigrants from coming. SO, I'd say that 1 out of 100 immigrants would be able to sneak into America. That might not be accurate.

I could pass the test with no problem. Don't they teach government in school anymore? I mean we had to take a test that I'm sure was far more complicated than the citizenship test before you could graduate from high school as well as a test for your specific state. Of course that was way back when........

I'd pass.

I got 70% of the Math and 90% of the reading correct on the SAT pre-test.

I'm good at writing, so I'd probably get a 1300 - 1350 on the real SAT.

I could. I love my country and I am a true American. I do not leach off the economy of another country I am not welcome in. I do not ruin the lives of true citizens who are not LAW BREAKERS. I could, and if I were an immigrant, I would become a citizen because I couldn't live with the shame of being a dirty, filthy, disgusting ignorant leach on society.

Post the test here. I'll be happy to answer it and have my answers shown online.

8:10 edit: To Stephanie- I am on a computer, yes, but I don't cheat. Ever. Actually, I was hoping to show off a little.

I agree. I would probably fail. Have you seen the questions they ask people? CRAZY!!!

Tabula Rasa: All you would have to do is look up the anwers on the computer, people who take the test don't get books, or the computer for answers. The test and a pencil. Good Luck.

Of course!Look who has been in charge of public education for the last 30 or so years.A bunch of bleeding hearts who care more about social promotion, than actually expecting the students to learn.
