I push the little black piece up under his neck but he still gets it down to losen the straps and then trys to get himself out of the carseat. Is their another type of seat I should buy???????? Any suggestions welcome!!

Do you have the straps tightened enough? You should only be able to slide your fingers underneath the straps on his chest. I know this is frustrating....my 12 month old screams everytime we put him in his seat....good luck!!

The police or fire department (depending on where you live) should have people trained in carseat installation. It wouldn't hurt to get them to look at it.

Other that maybe a safety pin in each strap to stop the black bit from being able to slide?

If he can get his hands out then its not tight enough. When you buckle him in you should only be able to squeeze 1 of your fingers in between the straps and your child and the clip should ALWAYS go at the armpit level. If you follow these directions 1. your child will not get out 2. he will be the safest

i'd say not. As anybody else has referred to, there continues to be the probability of the a minimum of the sprint board, although in case you acceptable strapped interior the vehicle seat and your toddler I doubt the windshield will be too massive a difficulty (in concept) yet nonetheless issues ought to come flying with the help of the windshield. i'd say the probability is too large. i does not do it and that i'd under no circumstances recommend all of us else to. besides, what if the sensors died or malfunctioned? scary concept.
