They are different in almost everyway. South Korea is financially well off and a great producer of technology. North Korea is run under the dictatorship of Kim Il Jong. It is a communist state where everything is controlled by the government. There are no non-North Korean TV shows or movies shown, especially not American. They are a nuclear power and are not very careful in their actions surrounding this (i.e. wanting to test their weapons). The media is heavily censored. People from other countries aren't allowed into North Korea. They are members of very few international organisations. Also there is no internet available to the general public. Hope that helps

North Korea is a communist country. They have intranet instead of internet, which means that the goverment filters out anything that they don't want them to know, which means there is no Google, because if they researched something, it might have an American point of view. They are isolated from the rest of the world; the goverment doesn't want N.K. to be influenced by America. Their music and tv is all propaganda from the goverment. There are no movies about America or anywhere else; only North Korea. The highschool bands sing songs such as "let's all join the army," let's study hard," etc. In South Korea, they are a democratic country. The South Koreans are indivuals, which includes styles of clothing, music choices, and they can listen to all kinds of music.

Korea had continuously been one country, Stalin have been given the allies to conform with divide the country into 2. The North grew to alter right into a communist country, lead by a mad guy, and the South is particularly a democratic country lead by distinctive elected leaders. until ultimately the insane ruler of the North dies there heavily isn't a united Korea.

As above ppl said they have lived differntly with differnt idea. Simmliar with German(West/East).
When you get to see Korean dramas or movies or Koreans I can say it is all from SOUTH Korea. North Korean are dying with starvation..etc etc.

Even language is differnt. For example, South Korean call TV- TV. North Korean call TV- Talking machine.

And more information for someone who doesn't have any idea about SOUTH KOREA---> people loves to buy organic food, most of them has air purifying machin at home(You may think because of air polution?? maybe yes maybe no). Big flat TV from Samsung or LG...etc is very popular. Samsung or LG washing machin which you don't have to dry and iron your clothes. Love Starbucks coffee.Traveling many cuntries. ETC ETC.
NORTH KOREAN?---> They will try to share TV with neighbor, or try to wash their clothes in the well. They've heard about internet but don't know much about it. Traveling? Maybe go to next town for getting some more rice from cousin. ETC ETC...

It is totally differnt like Mars and Venus.

And if you ever get to meet Koreans by chance, most likly they are SOUTH KOREANS. And they will just say "I am Korean". And don't even bother to ask "from South? or North?" They might laughing at you. It is not even a question.
Oh, MAYBE.... some of North Korean can be in America. I've read news before that Americans try to protecting North Korean women and babies from phsycal abuse in North Korea. So they sending them to the US somehow.

Is this nough? or not enough?

;)

Good day.

well for starters: North Korea is economically in a horrible state while South korea is prospering. North Korea is communist, South Korea is democratic. they're pratically the north and south pole, opposites! and South Korea is the source of HALLYU! the one and only korean wave!

Apparently, North Korea is on the north and South Korea is down south! LOL!
Seriously, the difference between the two Koreas are the form of government and the economy. NK is communist and SK is democratic. It appears today that SK is more economically progressive while NK is busy building and perfecting a nuclear bomb that is scaring and freaking the s@*t hell out all of us.
