To the young feamle. I care not to say "lady" because obviously she isn't, there are certain months of the year that the stores have big sales (after market).
Duh... what do you do? Buy your furniture at Wal Mart?

After market sales are always good...however, the mark-up on furniture is over 200%!! You should NEVER pay sticker price...that's like paying sticker price for a car!!

Don't be afraid to compare prices at different furniture stores. Get the stores to bid against each other! It works every time.

Also...if you are not in a huge rush...you can order from furniture stores in North Carolina and they will ship it to you. Most of the time...the price is substantially cheaper...even WITH shipping. Do your homework and believe me...it will pay off for you!

Jacylyn Hirschhaut, vice president of American Home Furnishing Alliance says that the best time to buy furniture is in January and June, not the holidays! The reason is because new product launches happen in February and July so they need to clear the previous models. Hope this helps you out!

In January almost every store that I have ever worked in is taking inventory to pay taxes. This is ALWAYS the best time to get sales on furniture. They are unloading everything they can to pay those taxes. I hope that you find what you want! Have a GrEaT ChRiStMaS!!

Shop around. That's really the best way. But whatever you do DON'T GO TO WALMART FOR FURNITURE!!! It will suck and probably fall apart in a year

When you need new furniture, why do you ask such a stupid question?
