Ofcourse you should accept a gift.

There is no need to read anything into a gift other than it is a lovely gesture of kindness and affection. You shouldn't feel guilty accepting gifts.

If people have ulterior motives for giving, that is THEIR problem.

I wouldn't take it. It's all a matter of integrity. She treated you like dirt and now she wants to give you a gift? I would tell her to keep it or donate it to charity but you don't want anything from her ever again.

I know it stinks when something like that happens and you develop a relationship with the family but I think once the relationship is over the best thing to do is to move on completely.

Good luck...

Figure out what you want first. Just cause they got you Christmas presents does not mean you have to get them at Christmas. Take some time for yourself see what you want.

Dump her.
Do not accept christmas from her.
Continue to be friends with her family. They are not to be blamed.
Continue to ignore her. Get a new gf and continue to be friend with her family. This is the best way to annoy her.

I think u should but tell her only if she doesn't expect that it means that she has a good chance with getting back with you. I mean she may be trying to bribe you or something so make sure that she understands that ur not gonna jump straight back into a relationship with her.
