He has sent down to thee the Book (Quran) containing the truth and fulfilling that which precedes it; and He has sent down the Torah and the Gospel before this, as a guidance to the people; and He has sent down the Discrimination

Say, 'O People of the Book, you stand on nothing until you observe the Torah and the Gospel and what has now been sent down to you from your Lord.' And surely what has been sent down to thee from thy Lord will increase many of them in rebellion and disbelieve; so grieve not for the disbelieving people.

And remember when We gave Moses the Book and the Discrimination, that you may be rightly guided. And if they accuse thee (Muhammad) of lying, even so were accused of lying, Messengers before thee who came with clear Signs and Books of wisdom and the illuminating Book.

Said Jesus, 'Surely, God is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him alone, this is the right path.'

Say ye, 'We believe in Allah and what has been revealed to us, and what was revealed to Abraham and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob and his children, and what was given to Moses and Jesus, and what was given to all other Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them; and to Him we submit ourselves.'

Sounds like the messages are somewhat the same in both books. I wish I could study the Quran to see how it is equal to our Holy Bible. Do you think there are similarities in the two books ? We should not put the books down and speak badly of neither of them. Could be they relate the same messages. Is this Possible ?

Jesus didn't came to destroy the law of the torah , he came to observed and fulfill the law. he even advised to the Israelites, " Obey what the rabbis teach, but do not follow their deeds, for they don't follow what they preach ". Christians on the other hand followed Paul , an ex-pharisee, who called the "Torah" , which is a holy tablet send by god to Moses on mount Sinai, as a curse and represents hagar and Ishamel which means slavery !!! Indeed evil are the works of the children of lawlessness !!!

By the way, Muhammad was prophesised in the gospel in original Aramiac a.k.a ancient Syriac language which is known as "Hamad" in the verb form .
In the past participle form, the word "hamad" is change into "MaHMaD or MaHaMoD " ...
That is the word which means "comforter" whic jesus promise to deliver, not the holy spirit in yourselves who are your comforter !!!
The problem is your gospel is was translated originally from conine greek and Jesus didn't spoke with his disciple in conine greek !!!

Isn't the Quran written in Arabic? Why did you translate it to archaic English rather than modern English? The King James Bible was translated to that type of English because it was the formal language of it's day. (The formal language not the common spoken language.) Are you trying to emulate the King James Bible?

The Bible and the books of Moses are in agreement and neither is in agreement with the Qu'ran which is the teaching of a dead man. There is but one way to the father and it is through the Son who atoned for my sin. Abraham taught that the lord would provide himself a lamb. Jesus was that lamb of God and he atoned for the sins of those who accept the atonement Jesus taught there is no way to the Father but through the Son.

No educated or civilized person on the planet gives a damn about the Quran, Islam, or Allah. I keep a copy of the Quran in my kitchen so I can tear out a page to sop up bacon grease when I spill some on the floor.

Jesus is The Christ. There never has and never will be a need for Muhammad. Muhammad is dead and Jesus lives! Jesus is sinless. Muhammad, well we all know the things he did and those things are not of God.

Merry Christmas.

My brother in faith, realize they are misguided people, the mercy and blessings of God have not been given to them,

006:025] And of them there are some who listen to you; but We have set veils on their hearts, so they understand it not, and deafness in their ears; and even if they see every one of the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) they will not believe therein; to the point that when they come to you to argue with you, the disbelievers say: "These are nothing but tales of the men of old."

[026:199] And he had recited it to them, they would not have believed in it.

[026:200] Thus have We caused it (the denial of the Qur'ân) to enter the hearts of the Mûjrimûn (criminals, polytheists, sinners).

[026:201] They will not believe in it until they see the painful torment.

[026:202] It shall come to them of a sudden, while they perceive it not.

[026:203] Then they will say: "Can we be respited?"

[026:204] Would they then wish for Our torment to be hastened on?

[026:205] Think, (even) if We do let them enjoy for years,

[026:206] And afterwards comes to them that (punishment) which they had been promised,
