I've been dating this guy for about 3 weeks. We became very close very quickly and it was a bit overwhelming. He called all the time and we saw each other often. Now, he had to go out of town and I barely hear from him. He says it's because his cell signal goes in and out where he is. He was the agressor at first now I feel like I am. I guess it's a role reversal. I feel like he's more distant since he's been away then when he is with me. Did something change since he's been away? Or am I just being a little paranoid because I don't talk to him or see him as much as we did at first?

First of all....it is very difficult to really get to know someone in that short amount of time so it is reasonable that you would have those feelings of doubt. You need to take the time to breathe. Wait and see how the relationship goes when he gets back into town and go from there....good luck!

Love is a complicated thing, with a relationship like yours I think you should relax. Males seem to be more in-tuned into a relationship when they are being wanted, but some enjoy space. You should also understand what past relationship this new boyfriend has had. Ask yourself questions like does he cheat? or Is he trying to hide something? Though you may be paranoid I understand your reasons for being this way. When someone acts one way then totally changes you wonder what happened. I would also think about your relationship more and try to find out what is going on. If the relationship has changed dramatically I would start asking questions. He also is probably telling the truth about the cell phone because sometimes it does that with the phone I have, but I know if I was in Love with someone or Liked someone I would try to get to a phone just to say goodnight to her.

THis is coming from a guy,

You just have to go with your gut instinct, If he has not lied before then probably he's telling the truth, some ares cell's don't work.

THere is nothing wrong with yo being the agggressor, after all you might be giving him a break from having to chase you all the time,.

you've said nothing that indicates your realtionship is in trouble

Your just being paranoid and you miss the time you guys had together! Don't over think the situation because then you might start to lose trust and that's not good. Trust what he's saying because it is possible that his signal can go in and out, mine does it all the time!

Personally, i think you guys may have rushed too much and now he wants his space. It happens. But, don't worry about it. Continue living your life and if you talk to him, you talk to him. If not, no big deal.

I think your just being paranoid, trust me it's not worth it. If he told you why he hasn't been calling then accept it, he's probably really busy.
