Rounding up to $20 or $21 is fine. $5 is unnecessary unless they're coming a long way or it's an extra busy night (like Friday or weekends). Most pizza places get nearly minimum plus gas mileage so you don't have to feel like they're DEPENDING on you for their $$, but it is definitely nice to do at least $2 (on a single pizza...the bigger the order, the bigger the tip, then work on a 20% plan.)

Since the general consensus is 10 percent of the cost of the item, go with a $2 tip. Your close enough in price to twenty bucks anyways so just do it and enjoy the pizza!!!!

You should tip generously, no less than 5 dollars. The delivery guys don't make much, and depend on tips. They also usually have to use thier own cars. I've had lots of crappy jobs where tips are involved, it's hard work. Tip as much as you can, reasonably.

Your total is about $19, so I usually give the pizza guy at least $21-22. If you order from them regularly and are a good tipper, places will remember. But if you're a bad tipper...well, do you want to p!ss off people that handle YOUR food? :)

I tip them the same as restaurant: 15%.

15% of 18.99 = (.15)*18.99 = 2.8485 = 2.85$

I normally tip a little over 20% for delivery. So I would give the delivery person $22.00.

$1 unless the bill is close to 00 then I give a little extra. So if the bill is $15.75 - $17. Your example $20 keep the change.

I'm sorry I don't know but your question made me really laugh. I imagined you answering the door and taking the pizza and then running off to your PC to find out how much you need to tip him while he waits. LMAO

I always tip a minimum 15% if I want to give a tip but try to never give less than $5.00.
