20 pounds in two weeks is not healthy and may be frustratingly impossible for many people. 20 pounds in two months is even a bit of a stretch for the average person! You can, however, try for 3-5 pounds.
That said, you can make it *look* like you've lost almost 20 pounds (on top of those 3-5 pounds you actually lose) by eating lots of fruits, vegetables, lean proteins (chicken, fish, etc.), and some whole grains in healthy portions. If you are not already exercising, being a program of cardio, strength / toning, and flexibility. Don't overdo it with exercise, however; an hour a day for 5-6 days a week at a moderate to somewhat challenging intensity should be sufficient. Make sure you get plenty of sleep each night; sleep deprivation can not only cause all sorts of other problems but can hinder weight loss.
Also, avoid sugar, white carbs (e.g. white bread), sodium, and carbonated beverages (e.g. sodas). (Also, if you have some lactose intolerance, avoid dairy products, although make sure you get enough calcium otherwise. If you're like others, you may also want to avoid gluten, alcohol, and sugar substitutes.) These food products may cause you to bloat, so cutting them out will help you lose some unneeded water weight.
Finally, wear your most flattering clothes. You know the drill: no horizontal stripes, etc. And bring your self-confidence, smile, and best posture; nothing makes you look thinner than standing tall and being comfortable in your own skin.

Unless it is an absoulte emergency you should try to gradually shed pounds if you lose it all at once all you will lose is water weight which will come back as soon as you stop dieting or excercising. Try Celery for snacks and have a light dinner along with special k for lunch and oatmeal for breakfast. and also a lot of water and excercise. Make sure to take your vitamins to replace what your body won't be getting. good luck and be smart about it, don't just skip meals that does not work and it just makes perople get grumpy. good luck.

don't even try! A healthy weight loss is 1-2 pounds per week. Try Weight Watchers. They can help you get to where you want to be but it will take longer than two weeks.
There may be ways to lose it that fast but it's not good for your body.

Doesn't sound healthy. Loose 20 pounds in 6-8 weeks through exercise, and diet, and you might keep it off. Loos it fast, and it will come back plus some. Read the studies.

Don't eat anything at all, drin a bunch of water. And if this is a sucess you should have a horrible inestinal problem and an even worse eating disorder that can eventually result in irriversable weight gain or suffer hair loss or a paralyzing stroke.

Drink plenty of water and milk. Don't eat after 7 PM. Eat the most for breakfast and less throughout the day. Eat vegetables and fruit and plain grilled chicken. Make your own food so you know what's in it. Most importantly... excersice.... get on an eliptical machine or precor and use it for 30 minutes to get your heartrate going. Lift weights as well, because building muscle will burn fat as well.

You are going to kill yourself.
Best bet is to go on a 100% raw 100% vegan diet, and in 6 weeks or a few more, you aill lose 20 lbs., but only if your body needs to.

Maybe not.. This is imposible unless you go completely starving... but that is even worse. You can loose about 5 pounds in two weeks if you do these things though but the other option is to get surgery:
make sure you are really dedicated, ask a friend who you know wants to lose a little, it is easier to lose weight when you have a friend with you. . .
also make sure you eat breakfast!
some good breakfast ideas are
-fruit and cereal
-protein shakes
-smoothies and fruit
-granola bars and fruit
-oatmeal and fruit
-eggs(try not to use butter or oil use water to "grease" the pan)
-veggie omlet
***make sure you eat breakfast within an hour of waking up, and make sure portion sizes are small enough to keep you full for a couple of hours
mid morning snack- make sure you have a small snack within 2-3 hours after breakfast some ideas. . .
-a piece of fruit
-carrots,celeray with lowfat dip about 2tblsp
-nuts
-smoothie
*****this should be light just to hold you over until lunch*****
lunch should be within 2-3 hrs after mid morning snack
remember to keep it light and not heavy.
-turkey on wheat with lowfat mayo and lettuce and tomatos + a piece of fruit or vegetable + granola bar + snack sized bag of baked chips
-soup + salad, with low fat dressing + breadsticks
*make sure portion sizes are decent, no overdoing it*
mid-day snack is usually 2-3hrs after lunch
-vegetables with lowfat dip
-nuts
-fruit with lowfat yogurt
-cup of yogurt
-jello
-smoothie
-snack size bag of chips that are baked or pretzels
supper is 2-3 hrs after you eat your mid day snack
-chicken (3-4oz) and pasta (3-4oz) with reduce sodium tomato sauce
-soup + salad lowfat dressing + breadsticks
-meat (3-4oz) + pasta or rice or potatos + fruit or vegetables
**********PORTION SIZES ARE KEY***************
it is also better to eat 5 times a day then to skip a meal, if you skip a meal the food you eat next stays on your body as fat, so keep eating 5 times a day that way your metabolism is always going.
also try cutting back on soda/pop if you drink alot of that and sugar, try not to eat any of that because it just adds empty calories
also make sure you excersie at least 30 minutes a day and walk as much as possible
Good luck with that... oh yeah, the best thing you want is to be positive and motivated.
