If you have great credit or at least an asset that maintains it's value like a home...then I would try the bank...never get a loan from your credit cards (incurs just as much interest as the card itself) and never try those Check to Cash places...that's ridiculous amount of fees and percentages...

you need to have some verifiable assets to get a personal loan from a bank. rest assured the interest rates are not low. if you are a homeowner the best thing to do is do a cash-out refi to pay off your revolving credit accounts...
