no, it slows down your metabolism. eat several small meals a day to keep it running fast-you will burn more calories that way

No, no it is not. If you are trying to lose wight, you will actually lose more weight if you eat frequently in small portions.
When you eat, your metabolism will take bits of the food to keep you at a moderate weight. So when people eat less, less food goes to your metabolism. It then takes all the fat from the food and stores it. Normally, it would only take a little, but since you are not eating it will store more.
Besides, the odds are you are not getting the nutrition you need to get every day in that one meal.

your going to slow down your metabolism then when you get to a certain age you will regret it because as you get older the metabolism slows down . you are missing out on nutrients one meal a day is not enough fuel for your body if your doing this to maintain weight or lose it not good your messing up your own system. try eating small meals throughout the day but healthy ones

its bad for you, yes
but i did a one meal diet a day thingy and i loss weight
im not suggestinbg it AT ALL
if you were to do it though, it needs to be very large, filling, and nutritous

That's all i eat. I get along okay, though you will get pretty weak if you keep it up for any length of time.
