We have been dating her for about 5 months. She is 21 yrs old. I see her probably once or twice a week. We both have busy work schedules.

Get her the Tommy 10 perfume. It's a limited edition and it smells fantastic. I'm 24 and if I had a boyfriend who bought me that as a pressie I would love it.
BTW - yes, if you have been going out for 5 months then you should definetly get her some kind of gift. Don't be one of those guys who says "its just another day" every time a special occasion comes around. Boring! and don't try to get off lighty by just getting chocolates or flowers. Even if someone is just a friend, at Christmas time, you should always get them a gift that's personal. It doesn't have to be expensive as long as you've put a bit of thought into it.

I think you should get her something... It will make her feel special because you thought abouther, but Christmas is the season of giving...what better thing to do for somebody you love than get them something as a token ofyour love.
With you saying you both have busy work schedules, perhaps you should look into getting her something to help her relax.... If you want to spend a fair amount of money on her, get her a certificate for a massage. If you don't have a lot of money, or want to spend a lot, get some bath stuff.... bath beads, salts, bubblebath, etc... put together a relaxation basket... you can get aromatherapy bath salts and stuff... NOTE: Lavendar is a relaxing sent.

Yes, get her a gift. Maybe a gift certificate to get a massage, or a couple of DVD's along with some goodies like popcorn and candy so you can have a date night since you're both so busy.
Maybe even just a pretty scarf would be nice.

of course you should get her a gift! even though she might say something along the lines of "oh, its OK i really have everything" shes expecting a girt & im sure she has one planned for you too. since you guys have been dating for quite a while a nice necklace or earing would be a great girt! you might not want to go too cheep, but not too expensive either. something like $300 should be good, or get her a perfume with a scent that you love. a 5 months deserves a good gift. shes "your girl" get her something special! *dont forget to include a kiss :]

Yes you should get her something, it doesn't have to be anything major just something to show you care. You can get her alcohol if you have a Beverages and More near where you live you should go there, they have good gift sets. Or you can get her some jewelry, or a gift card to her favorite store. Duh dude! It's the thought that counts and since you thought about it you have to buy her a gift. Buy her some jewelery, but not too expensive! Or you can always plan a romantic evening for the two of you since you don't see each other that often.

if you're gonna call her "my girl" then yeah, you should prolly get her something. that's the thing i don't get about guys. i have been dating my bf for about a month. i told him the other day that i got his Christmas present. he was like...oh, do u want something for Christmas??... my thinking is that if you have a girlfriend, you get her something for Christmas. so yeah, you should.
