you can redistribute the map while adding the modern lakes,
coves, harbors, and rivers. Lets begin. Using a leaf shape cone. Add twenty lengths to the northwest sector northerly.
Add the same amount on these points sw 185 -194, sse
170-175, ese 100-120, and finally a similar section directly south. This shape now will be the base map. Making two points
that do no longer enter the map, Japan is exactly the shape today of sweden when we count rice and private land. Shorten
the west and south points by 5% erosions and swamp. That

1000 year old maps tend to be a little faded. Check with the curator of your local museum ........
