And when I open up Add/Remove Programs it gives me and error saying "Run Dll as an App has encountered a problem and has to close. I think it all started after downloading something on Limewire but im not for sure. It just shut down and wouldn't open back up and then i noticed other files were jacked too. I dont know what the problem and i tried a virus scan using Mcafee and I tried Registry Mechanic and I still have a problem. Please help.

download avast and run a virus scan - you most likely have a virus as 90% of the files on limewire at this point are trojans.

I'm telling you people don't download free music off the internet. It's filled with viruses, adaware, trojan horses, etc.

You will be lucky if you can remove everything. Sounds like a nasty virus and you might have to reformat your hard drive and reinstall windows to even get your pc to function normally.

You may be able to delete the files through the command prompt if you know how to delete files from there. It's fairly easy. type "cd" and the name of your folder. Keep typing cd until you get to the specific folder/directory. If you don't know the name, press "dir" to list all the file names and use the command "del" plus the file name to delete all the files associated with that program.

Good luck. Don't download music off the internet, you're only asking for problems, and a viruses could be the least of your problems. Be happy it's not a logic bomb or someone in the middle trying to steal your idenitity.

This happened to me once a long while ago.
I think the only way I was able to fix it was to format my drive and reinstall windows.
You can try using System Restore to go back to a date bfore it happened, but I think reinstalling windows is your best bet.
Good luck.
