My phone number was given to a guy by an aunt. He has been calling me frequently and wants to meet. Apparantly he saw me at a wedding, but I have no idea what he looks like. He sounds pretty nice on the phone (just calls ALOT!!) He also lives about 2 hours from me and wants to drive all that way to meet, so I almost feel obligated. Any suggestions?

Meet him somewhere public with an open mind. Keep the chat light only delving to check him out. If you both appear to click - great! If not have an excuse eg meeting a friend to enable you to leave politely. Then telephone him and tell him you do not want to meet again. Thanks but no thanks.

My dear woman, you are under no obligation to go on a date with this man. Despite your yenta of an aunts perhaps good intentions, it was in way her business to include herself in your love life. Besides, if he's been calling you "A LOT", how come you haven't asked him about himself or what he does for a career? Better yet, have you asked your aunt since she's the one whom gave out your information without your express consent?

maybe you should meet him. if he seems nice then you should give him a chance. but, maybe you should bring a friend just in case things don't work out.

if you have talked with him and you have a good sense that he might be a nice guy...go for it, it never hurts to have friends. if nothing comes from it, at least you have gained a friend. good luck!
