I have noticed alot of Bush Bashing on here. Asking for impeachment, that he is a terrorist, he is guilty of war crimes, he has ruined our country, going to war illegally, false accusations. What is the "real" hatred come from? I believe the other accusations are just false statements since they are not true. Would you have hated FDR in the 40's. Lincoln in the 1860's. Where does your hate come from? Watching the Michael Moore Documentary's? I really want to know?

Also, what has Bush done for me? A sense of security, tax breaks that your apparent party wants to raise, speaks to me instead of around me, like the libs and last, he has the coconuts to do something about future terroristic problems now instead of letting them grow. Security for my kids. That is what he has done for me.

EXCELLENT QUESTION!! Wish I could give you 10 points, but a tumbs up will have to suffice.

You might find this interesting...

Things that make you think a little:

There were 39 combat related killings in Iraq in January.
In the fair city of Detroit there were 35 murders in the month of
January. That's just one American city, about as deadly as the entire war-torn country of Iraq.

When some claim that President Bush shouldn't have started this war, state the following:
a. FDR led us into World War II.
b. Germany never attacked us; Japan did. From 1941-1945, 450,000 lives were lost ...an average of 112,500 per year.
c. Truman finished that war and started one in Korea. North Korea never attacked us. From 1950-1953, 55,000 lives were lost...an average of 18,334 per year.
d. John F. Kennedy started the Vietnam conflict in 1962. Vietnam never attacked us.
e. Johnson turned Vietnam into a quagmire. From 1965-1975, 58,000 lives were lost...an average of 5,800 per year.
f. Clinton went to war in Bosnia without UN or French consent.
Bosnia never attacked us. He was offered Osama bin Laden's head on a platter three times by Sudan and did nothing. Osama has attacked us on multiple occasions.
g. In the years since terrorists attacked us , President Bush has
liberated two countries, crushed the Taliban, crippled al-Qaida, put nuclear inspectors in Libya, Iran, and North Korea without firing a shot, and captured a terrorist who slaughtered 300,000 of his own people.

The Democrats are complaining about how long the war is taking. But . . . .It took less time to take Iraq than it took Janet Reno to take the Branch Davidian compound. That was a 51-day operation.

We've been looking for evidence for chemical weapons in Iraq for less time than it took Hillary Clinton to find the Rose Law Firm billing records.

It took less time for the 3rd Infantry Division and the Marines to
destroy the Medina Republican Guard than it took Ted Kennedy to call the police after his Oldsmobile sank at Chappaquiddick.

It took less time to take Iraq than it took to count the votes in
Florida!!!!

Our Commander-In-Chief is doing a GREAT JOB!
The Military morale is high!

The biased media hopes we are too ignorant to realize the facts

Answer from a liberal. Screw Michael Moore. The American people are sick and tired of seeing body bags on the nightly news - just like we got sick and tired of it during the Vietnam era.

Your question is a typical Republican question aimed at Democrats - you put the blame for our disdain of your fearless leader on someone who at least has the guts to speak out and has the money to say your leader is wrong. Dead wrong. Ask the families of those 3000+ servicemen - better still ask the children who will never know their fathers - is Bush right?

Our hatred - and I hesitate to use that word, but since you did I will - of your fearless leader - comes from his inate stupidity in committing American troops to a no-win war to satisfy his vanity. Bush stated on his first day in office he was going to remove Saddam Hussein because Hussein had put out a contract on Daddy during the Gulf War. He just used 9/11 as an excuse.

Bush is intent on being remembered as a "nation-builder" as he stated in one of his debates during the 2004 campaign. Instead, he's going to be remembered as one of the most divisive presidents in American history...as someone who squandered a record budget surplus to satisfy his own vanity and who cared only about removing another leader from power while letting the country go to hell in a handbasket.

According to the NBC Nightly News on Tuesday, December 19, there are close to 100,000 victims of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans who are STILL waiting for the promised federal aid. Think of how much good the money Bush is squandering in Iraq could have done to have helped those people. This is leadership?

When all is said and done, historians will look back upon the 8 long years of Bush and find it amazing the country survived. But, it will be a testment to the American spirit that we will. And hopefully, people will never make the mistake again of electing a totally incompetent fool as president.

Merry Christmas to our troops and let's hope this insanity ends soon and that you can all come home safely.

Update for acrticchic: Kennedy did not start the Vietnam War - Eisenhower did. FDR did not "lead" us into WWII - we were attacked by Japan which was an ally of Germany. When we declared war on Japan, that automatically got us into the European theatre of war. Check your facts, sweetie.

I don't hate Bush, because I don't know him. But, I do hate what he's done to our country and what he's done to our military. I hate that our country's reputation has been tarnished by his actions. I wasn't happy when he was "elected" the first time, but after September 11th, I gave him a chance. I supported going to war in Afghanistan, because that's where Bin Laden was supposed to be. He lost me when he started banging the war drum against Iraq when there was (and still is) no reason to do so. He refuses to accept responsibility for his mistakes, he has yet to make good on any of the promises made in his first campaign back in 2000. Because of the actions of Bush and his cronies, we are in a war in Iraq that has no end in sight (and really, no good way to get out of it), Halliburton is making more and more $$ off the american people, 2,000+ soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines are dead, our country was attacked by terrorists, the gap between rich and poor is getting wider by the day, the middle class is disappearing day by day, and no one is doing anything about it. Meanwhile, he's busy taking vacations and his vice president is busy shooting his hunting buddies. I don't see where he has done anything that has put him anywhere in the same league as FDR or Lincoln. IMO, he's down in the toilet with Nixon. Worst president ever.

The current administration has offered at every turn a horrifying lesson in how not to lead. Its MO has been this: suppress dissent (rather than encourage it), surround yourself by sycophantic yes-men (rather than objective views), bring in personal loyalists for key positions (rather than people who actually know what they're doing), vilify those who disagree or propose a better way. And oh yes: accuse even long-term like-minded allies of cowardice and treachery if they don't kiss your a s s 24/7. No term of opprobrium is too low for somebody who refuses to bow to your will: that's the way to lead the Free World. (Not.)

Very simply, all presidents historically do something for the other side. They have to try to agree on something that's good for everyone. I can't think of a single thing Bush had done for me or Democrats or even moderates and lots of things that have hurt this country. Falsely accused? You still think this war was a good idea? Huge deficits and a falling dollar is good for us? I'm not sure hatred is the right war-maybe extreme sadness as the US falls from grace with GW at the helm. Harder to understand is that republicans(I once respected many of their views) stand by and claim to be fiscally conservative as the deficit reaches new historical heights. And create bigger government than ever in history(they used to be for small government) and stand by as this administration ignores states rights(they used to be for that too). And cater to the moral types-they used to think that wasn't our business. What does Bush do for you?

people hate things, sometimes just because they disagree with polocies. but looking at facts most of the accusations aren't true. for example he didn't ruin the country, we are at war yes, and wartime presidents are always looked pourly upon, but even on top of the war expenses he has reduced the national debt, the first time it hasn't increased in something like twenty years. but we won't get into all that, the hate for some stems from the war, for others from his views on abortion or stem cells research. some its just because he's republican, some just pick up what they hear. I'm sorry that I have no real anwsers for this, but its always going to depend on the person whose doing th hating

I don't understand the hate for Bush specifically, he is just the personification of what is wrong with our system today. We should be mad at ourselves for electing a man who is totally incapable of doing the job we gave him, he didn't give himself the job!
I don't know what these false statements you are talking about might be, but if you beleive his service to this counrty was sufficient, you really need to review the last 6 years using your head, not just being a submissive republican supporter. He has made mistakes like many other leaders, but his inability to accept responsibilty for anything is what sets him aside and makes him easy to attack. Every time something goes wrong, the next scapegoat is already lined up, this is not the behavior of a real leader.

I hate bush but love Lincoln. That man was an amazing President that did a lot of great things. My hate for Biush comes from this ridiculous war in Iraq. My fiance and all of our friends in the USN are deployed. This is a pointless conflict that we have achieved nothing through. All that has happened is our wonderful men/women have been taken away from their homes and loved ones and many have lost their lives. For what?? For Bullshit!
