The only instance noted about Jesus' childhood is when he was 12. His mom noticed he was missing from their caravan on the way back to Nazareth from Jerusalem. She and Joseph went back to Jerusalem and found him in the temple teaching the elders there.

Nothing else about his childhood is mentioned, so we can only speculate.

As for yoga enlightening him, I think it was a little more divine than that.

That's a good question. I do know that in the bible in the New Testament it says that Jesus went to a place of worship at the age of 13 and spoke of why he was put on this earth. I guess he grew up like any other child back then.

In the Protestant canonized Bible there are not any scriptural references to Jesus's teenage or young adult years. But in the Catholic Bible, I am pretty sure that there are some stories of Jesus during those years you mention. If not, I know that some non-canonized books or letters exist with such information.

The only incident that the Bible makes mention of concerning Jesus in his youth is where Mary and Joseph take him into town and he goes into the synagogue for three days and discusses matters of God his father.

The apocryphal book of St Thomas depicts the life of Christ, but does not cover his death, so much. Thomas took his ministry to India, where the people wanted to know about Jesus' life, not his resurrection. They accepted that if he was a God, that he would resurrect. But, his life gave a view of what made him worthy, in their opinion.
