Everything that happens is all in Gods hands.
Whatever He wills, happens.
We are His creation.

For example: If you made sculptures...and you decided to brake one even though everyone else thought it was perfect. Everyone then got upset because you chose one that was better then most of the rest, but it's what you willed and wanted to do. Isn't that fair? because you made it, you created it, so you choose what to do with it.
This is nothing to argue about. You have to accept what God does in this life and this world. It's not up to anyone but Him. Accept it.

Young innocent children and infants become beautiful birds in the heavens after they pass away.

I don't really believe in the God that is portrait in Christian mythology (as I call it) but I can say that for it to be God's fault he would have to exist and be part of our lives and I am pretty sure that in the real life situation, whatever created has left us a long time ago. Maybe they will be back when the people who have the weakest minds are not in charge and money does not mean more then a person's life. That is when the creator(s) will be back to make sure that a healthy baby does not die during childbirth.

A God didn't have anything to do with it. I am deeply sorry about your loss, if this was a child close to you. When children are abducted, the parents and the whole community have prayer vigils and the like, but very seldom does their God answer their prayers. More often than not that poor child is found not only dead, but died the worst death imaginable. I imagine at the funeral there will be a preacher praying to God to open the Pearly Gates for this child. That is to make the parents feel better. As far as God is concerned, that prayer is falling on deaf ears. Nobody knows where we came from or where we're going, but you can be sure, there is no God making decisions for us.

God doesn't kill. People kill. And Satan kills. God doesn't. And everything is part of His plan. For some reason, that baby's death happened, and it will affect the lives of those parents forever...probably will make them stronger people. Perhaps it will cause them to embrace Him more. Or maybe it wasn't for them. Maybe this baby's short existance on earth affected a complete stranger who saw the mother pregnant and was struck in just the right way by it and will now go a completely new way in her life and serve God in a way she never would have before. We can't know for sure, but we can know that that child had a purpose during it's life in the womb. And once that purpose had been fullfilled, God brought that soul home to be with Him. And the baby is happily in Heaven playing with the Angels.

Ah well the question isnt why did god do that, god does everything, the question is why did we *choose* that?

Believe it or not, like it or not, we are co-creators of the universe and we are responsible for all of our expereinces. As harsh as it may seem to lose a baby we share responsibility for choosing to have that experience manifest in our lives.

We are lousy creators on the one hand because we are unaware of our role in the process of creation, and we therefor fail to create responsibly so that our expereinces of creation can be more loving and nurturing and compassionate.

On the other hand we are also wonderful creators because we have managed to get far enough along to begin to learn that we are creators and to explore how we can master our role in creation and make things even better.

Namaste

I'm sorry, but a perfectly healthy baby does not die during childbirth, something has to be wrong with it in order for it to die. Or else it was a botched birth by the doctor.

You incredible fool...
How can you blame God for the results of our selfish ways and rebellion. The death of a baby is not his will.
There are things we cannot see, comprehend or fully know in this life as we are - but we do know God loves us more than we can imagine and our sin, our brokenness, has caused a fallen world where awful things happen ( which you do not respect enough to keep from using for your purposes ).
Read the Book of Job - where were you when he created the Earth, heaven and the seas? Yet you judge him. You have no authority to do so.

I stick with "peter" answer:
If the baby mom is a servant of God then it's for the glory of God if not then God has anything to do with that. You might consider asking that to satan.
1 john 5:19- We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one.

Well, that must have been their only part of life they had to accomplish. We all have a certain amount of time on earth, some have 30 years, some only 30 seconds. The child will have the opportunity to be raised in perfection in the millenium.
