I am a very responsible, stable guy but I suffer from anxiety and deppression. I go to therapy and take drugs but sometimes I cry for no reason. When I was in a serious relationship with a girl I cried in front of her like once or twice a month. We saw each other everyday so it was bound to happen around her. Everytime I did cry she got wierded out. Are all girls this way? If so, then next relationship should I just go home or off by myself when I feel I am about to cry. I am a nice, sweet, sensitive guy who just cries at times. I have become a lot more assertive and confident but still may cry. I guess I thought she would be consoling. I held her when she was down, ran errands for her, even gave her a massage everytime she asked, and did a lot more for her. But if I cried, even just alittle she was like," Whats your problem?" Is this normal? Do women want a guy who is strong and won't cry this much? I only cry like once a month.

Maybe you should wait untill you have been going out with a girl for a while to cry in front of them. Some girls find it cute, and some girls like me dont like boys that cry. It shows a sign of weakness and the boys are suppose to be the strong one, i know it sounds stupid, but thats just how i was raised. Next time get to know the girl and you decide for yourself if you think that girl can handle her boyfriend crying in front of her

I think your last girlfriend was very unsensitive about your feelings. She was obviously somebody who did not care for you. There are girls out there who'd kill for a man like you, trust me. You're sensitive. You care very much for your girlfriend. If you're sweet and nice like you say you are, even giving her massages!, ..i'm sure there's a million perfect matches for you. If a girl said "what's your problem?" after/during you cry.. i personally think she's an idiot. She should comfort you and make you feel loved. She's just one girl, don't use her bad attitude to chase away other girls who will care for you. Find a girl who will hold you tight when you need to be held. Kiss you softly when you're feeling down. Hold your hand when you need somebody beside you. Not every girl is the same. We are all different in so many different ways.

Some people are weirded out when anybody cries, and your girlfriend might be one of them.
Once or twice a month is not excessive for someone to cry. Personally, I love a guy who can cry around me. Guys normally put on a tough front unless they're really comfortable around someone, so your girlfriend is really lucky.
I think I would only be weirded out if the guy wouldn't let me hold him. I never know what to say when someone cries, and it is awkward for both of us. There's something really special, on the other hand, when I can tousle his hair and squeeze him tight until he finishes.

I don't know, you just have to find the right girl. I'm younger so I guess I would be pretty freaked out if my teenage boyfriend started crying but if you're older then I guess girls are a little more mature and can handle it. Everyones bound to cry one time or another just don't get all mushy everytime u see her that will be a little scary.

for some women yes. i want a guy who is strong, but not afraid to show his true feelings, if there's ever a time that he needs to show his true feelings. i suffered from depression once, but then i built up a strong wall---it seems like that walls getting thicker and taller everyday. it's not that easy for me to cry anymore. there don't seem to be any tears left. i don't let people in all that easily. sometimes i just wanna cry, but no tears will come. i won't mind if my guy cries. i'd hold him, like he held me, and talk to him, and console him. i want to do for my guy, like he would do for me. if he needed comfort, i'd be there for him---no matter what.

I wouldn't be. That shows me that he has a sensitive side. He can't be sensitive beacuse I do want a man not a boy. If he were going through some problems(like in your case) I would stand by his side and support him if I really loved him. That's how you tell if that person is the right one.

i think its nice for guys to cry. y do girls have to be the only ones with feelings? if the girl you're dating doesn't like u for who u are, then that isn't the right girl for you.
