Hotel room, romantic dinner, comedy show...the works. well, after the show I want to come back to the hotel, get into something sexy and be romantic. I would like to buy those fancy glasses and get some wine or champagne, but I dont know whats good. Id like to get something thats good to drink...yummy good...lol...but not overly pricey. You do not say in which country you live.

At this time most of the best value sparkling wines (not overly pricey are Cavas from Spain and proseccos from Italy, but there are good ones also from California, Austrailia, South Africa and France elsewhere than Champagne. For the Cavas select a Brut Natural or Nature.

Don't forget to bring candles.

If you are American and in a state that has licensed Trader Joe's stores, they sell a wonderful prosecco frizzante (not quite as intense bubbling) for between $US 6 and $US 8, depending on
the state and its taxes.

As for the glasses, just ask the hotel to loan you two genuine tulip-shaped champagne glasses.

Not sure what you like nor what overly pricey means. If you are pulling out the stops then a fairly pricey vino is in order. If you and he like Champange, then Vieue Cliquot has a very good bottle (Yellow Label) for about $40. It is a 'brut', meaning dry. If you prefer something a little sweeter, they have a 'demi-sec' which is a little more expensive ($50) but also wonderful.

If you prefer wine, we love the 8-9 grape blend from Sokol-Blosser called Evolution. It is only about $15.

All would be well suited for your 'dessert.'

The first-class wine is selfmade wine, I obtained black berries in an abundance So each and every Summer I select a big five gallon waterjug complete, I then shake them so that they bust up a however, Add a yeast packet and Sugar and permit it ferment for a number of months, the item is, you ought to use a bag as an alternative of a cap at the water jug, you may have availibility of growth, after approximately 2 months, I pressure all 5 gallons and get approximately three gallons of wine. Its thick and crimson and obviously candy, its tasteful. I name it "Passion" bottle it and drink one bottle and shop the others for particular instances. however you by and large dont care to move by way of the concern while you'll with ease purchase it, however, theres not anything like consuming a wine with anybody that you simply in my opinion made.

Schramsberg Cremant. It's a sparkling wine like champagne, but they leave a fair amount of residual sugar in it so it's somewhat sweet. It's a GREAT dessert drink, with lovely balance and great subtlety, but it's delicious enough for "beginners" to enjoy too. Have a bowl of fresh strawberries in the room and eat them in some messy, shared fashion, then sip the Cremant. It's wonderful.

I would choose wine, not a cheap wine. I would get port, or Eagle City is good It is an Iowa wine it is not sweat, but it is more tart really good. Its about 10 to 12 bucks a bottle. Champagne gives me a headache and makes me very sick. And I think it tastes like ****!

My very favorite champagne is Ballatore champagne .
And if you accidentally spill it ......you don't have to worry about it staining your cloths like wine can.
Every occasion I've had this champagne at .....its the most popular and they always run out. Its sweet champagne not dry.
And goes well with strawberries (when in season of coarse).
Usually runs Under $6.00 a bottle $4.99 when on special.

Both are fine, but champagne is more for celebrating.

Red wine - try the Malbecs from Argentina.
Champagne - Moet.

Both uses different glasses. So do remember to ask the shop assistant for help.

Two cobalt wine glasses and a bottle of Dry Comal Creek Columbard. Champagne's nothing but sour soda water.
