You mean his little heart? Here are a couple ideas:

1. Tell him you feel like the relationship is progressing too fast, and you need some time alone to think about things.

2. Tell him that people are constantly growing, and that you feel like the two of you are growing in different directions.

3. Tell him you aren't right for each other, that your real soul mates are out there waiting, and that it would be wrong to deny the four of you complete happiness. :-P

4. Tell him he needs someone who's [insert pleasant adjectives here], and that this person is not you.

5. Tell him you have some serious emotional issues to work through, and that you don't want him to have to be around you while you do that.

6. Tell him whatever you want.

The above options should help, or at least give you something to work with. Good luck!

Nobody likes to have their feelings hurt, but there is a relatively nice way to let him down. First of all, reconsider dumping him. Why are you kicking him to the curb? Is he annyoing? Mean? Weird? Make sure you really want to do this, then simply say, "I think we need to take a break from this relationship and see other people." He won't be too hurt if you are gentle.

It is really hard no matter what. If he loves you he does not want it to end and he will takes the new really bad. Just be honest to him even though it will hurt. Honesty is the best thing. And he deserves at least the truth. dont desrespect him by making up a lie.

I tried it and its like impossible but be truthful if you try because i've talked to guys about it and they hate it when girls all go well, I just want to be friends, and its not you its me, just be like look I really don't feel any thing between us I think we should break up. We would be better as friends.... sure it will hurt but its better than lying.

i assume u mean his HEART lol.

best way is face to face, i personally think that over the phone, through email, texting, ,or getting ur friend to do it for you is a shallow way and shows that your a gutless wonder. although face to face will possibly be harder for you and him becuase you will see his initial reactions and cant just run away or hang up, in the end he will respect you for doing it - just be honest with him and DONT be one of thsoe chicks who starts off with "i think we should be friends" or "can we stay friends" because guys hate that... also it depends how old you are../

The sooner the better. Just be really open and honest and let him know how you felt about expressing all this to him.

Come straight out and tell him you don't want to be with him. Don't drag things out, it will only make things worse.
