says to me without even greeting or anything: "Are you authorized to use your son's credit card?"

They call everyday. The card is not even join, and besides I have never used his credit card, and either has anyone else.
Is this FRAUD for someone asking you only this question every day?
What's a good come back line for jerks like this?

Whenever you are in doubt hang up. (This is what the Ontario government's "Phonebusters Program" tells seniors because you don't give a con artist a chance to persuade you into doing something stupid).
Secondly, many "telephone surveyors" are hired by financial companies both in Canada and in the States to ask questions about other banks (their competitors) and priveleges you get with them. The questions can be very personal. Sometimes the company is hired by the very bank that you are a customer of and will ask questions. (I know because I very briefly worked for one of these surveyors and did not like it one bit so I quit)! A lot of these surveyors do not do criminal/background checks on you so you could be talking to a convicted con artist.

You should ask the person to stop calling and ask them to place you on the Do Not Call list.
If the calls continue, ask to speak with a supervisor. Or call your local police department.
Do not give any personal information over the phone at all. Anyone who calls you and asks for personal information is likely committing fraud.

I would just say to them, I don't have a son. That will probably shut them up in a hurry.Remember Never tell them ANY info about his credit card or any personnal info about yourself. If they keep hounding you, ask them not to call you & tell them that if they continue you will report them for harrassment.

My husband is hilarious when telemarketers call! He'll try to buy something they're not selling! Them: "Would you be interested in_____?" Him: "Well no but I have been looking for a good bird dog. You don't have one of them for sale do you?" It gets them everytime! I almost wish they'd call sometimes just to hear him in that Bubba voice! Good luck!
