Nero is a collection of software for burning CD and DVD. Can back up data, make audio cds, dvds photo slideshows.
Quite good software that does almost anything you would want to do in this respect

Nero is a cd dvd burning software. It doesn't matter whether you prefer nero or roxio, they both work ok. but Don't try and install both together--guaranteed problems.

If you haven't bought Nero DON'T
Buy Roxio Drag to Disc, they give you more info on how to burn, it's so much easier to use, you really do just 'drag to disc', you get books with the disc, unlike Nero, for the same money.

yep now that i read the other answers i remember what nero is
it is a program that creates slide shows i think (if this doesn't help google "Nero")
