ok soo theres this guy and we have been talking on the phone a lot lately we have a lot in common hes been hinting on asking me out for days and i have been asking my friend for help and advice but she says to do things like say "i dont like u like that" and all but the thing is i kinda like him and he told me that he liked me a lot a lot and asked me if i liked him and yea i said that i did kind of like him.
i have a feeling that my friend doesnt want me to go out with him but im not sure a bout it and to add onto that hes gone out with one of my close friends and one other girl i talk to... but my close friend told me that it was fine and she didnt mind...
i need help, advice, ANYTHING!!! please

You have to make up your own mind. Your friend can't decide for you. You can listen to her advice but that doesn't necessarily mean you HAVE to take it. If you like him and your friend is telling you she doesn't mind, why would you question going out with him?
Once your mind is made up follow your instincts.

well how long have you been friends? is he the kind of person that you would just be friends with or go on a date with or even get serious maybe? remember guys are always out there. don't get super serious about just one guy when the whole world is filled with them. Make sure that he is the one. try to get to know him as well as you possibly can. love never lasts forever, but a friendship can last forever with the truest bond of all.......

My friend calls me doctor Phil because i help her out a lot.
Lets see here he sounds like a player since he has had many girlfriends,agree with me. He probably does like you but just think he also liked al of those other x-girlfriends until they decided to just split apart. So maybe your friend likes him too and she doesn't want you to go out with him because she wants him for herself. Give him a chance and if he becomes a total jerk then tell yourself that he is not worth your time and there are so many other boys that are just as cute but are way sweeter. i hope that this helps you out. good luck

Make it easy for him to finally ask you out. Then say "yes". Who cares if that one friend in paticular doesn't want you to go out with him. She sounds jealous. All that matters is that you and him 'kinda' like each other and you have consent from the friend who had him first.

Well you should do what you want, what you feel, if you like the guy you should tell him, and you said u kinda did, but yea you shouldnt worry what your friends think, if they are your friends theyll be there no matter what, do whats in your heart, peace and luck ^_^

I think you should try hooking up with him for a movie or something. Some firends are a little over protective sometime but its just because they don't want you to push them out of your life for your new b/f and also they don't want you to get hurt. But if you like him .. I think you should take a chance .. don't rush things though ... take it slow.

i was going trought that same feeling i wasn't too sure if this guy liked me but it went on for 6 months till finally i found out that he didn't like me he always told me he liked me more than a friends everytime. But suddenly he came up with i just like you as a friends. Honestly with my experiences i think he is just playing with you.

If your friend doesn't approve of him there has to be an underlying reason. Why else wouldn't she want your happiness? The only other reason is envy. Is this friendship worth ruining over one guy? That's the real question.

well no matter what, your close friend will probably mind a little bit, but i doubt it'll matter much. what really matters is whether or not you really like him. if you do then, tell him. and if you don't then you owe it to him to at least tell him you don't. and if you're not completely sure if you like him then just be friends longer and get to know him better. hope it works out.

Maybe you should ask your fiends why you shouldn't go out with him, she might actually have a pretty good reason why. Other wise she might just be jealous, so i would just go for it. If you don't make a move he might think that you don't like him. If i were you i would go out with him, that's if your sure that you like him enough.
