I think I see the problem here . . .

Just in case you are asking about how to figure a grade point average, I've got to point out that the answer below is inadequate.

First, you have to figure out how many grade points you have earned. It's easy if you don't have a +/- system; otherwise you'll need to find out how many grade points your school gives for all those different grades. But to keep it simple, let's say you took four classes and earned two A's and two B's. The A's are worth four grade points, and the B's are worth three grade points. And to keep it easy, let's say that all the classes were worth four credits. You earned 8 credits of A's, which comes to 32 grade points; and you earned 8 credits of B's, which comes to 24 grade points. So you earned a total of 56 grade points.

Now you need to add up how many credits you took. Four classes at four credits each comes to 16 credits.

To figure out your grade point average, you divide the number of grade points you earned (56) by the number of credits you took (16). In this case, the result is a GPA of 3.5.

Are you trying to get your GPA???? If so, all you do is add up all your grades and divide them by the number of classes.
